My First Goose Hatch-A-Long!

My goose Missy hasn't laid an egg in 3 years now and she is just going to be 9 in April. So no hatching here.

our place is going on the market in just three weeks so I had to make a no new baby rule for the spring.

Wow, I kinda wish my girls started in April, one of mine started last week of January, we had some really bad weather not long after she started.

Not well I fear. I’m not seeing any signs of development. The think I’m seeing is on one egg and I think it is just a crack that formed while it was in the incubator, though the shell feels smooth where it is, so I’m unsure.

One of my geese I noticed started being a good broody girl, so I left the eggs from yesterday, and I’ll continue leaving what ever is laid with her so hopefully she will hatch some out since apparently im not meant to this year

So I’m still not seeing any development, going to see if I have a stronger light to candle with and see if I’m just missing it.
When should I call it? I see a lot of people do at ten days but then I also hear of people having eggs start to develop at ten days or a bit after?
