My first Hatch-a-long!!!!! (And first hatch!)

I thought 1 was going to have to wait until next year, but I got some eggs for a great price!!!

It’s the weather...going to hit 30 and lower pretty soon. I prefer to let the littles feather out before exposing them to our crazy winters! So a early May hatch & June order is what I am planning! It’ll be here in no time! Just loving stalking the hatch-a-longs in the meantime! Learning so much reading through everything! (May will be my first incubation). Thanks for sharing your experience!

I’ve asked the parents for a rooster or some fertile eggs for christmas or my birthday (New Years day). I really hope I get some then I can have more chicks running around! Currently got 5 chooks.

Just moved the 2 chicks that hatched last to the brooder with the other chicks and I’m still waiting on 4 eggs. 1 has a pip and 1 looks like it might pip soon! Hoping for the best!

The last 4 eggs are

1 Silkie
1 Ayam Cemani
2 Spitz
