Yes it looks like a pearl necklace to me! I borrowed the pic from an art site. The pic was also in the movie "Amelie". She's quite regal isn't she?

That is a wonderful pattern. You do wonderful work. I just wish I understood paper piecing better. I may have to break down and join a class on it.

It was hard but it is a nice pattern. Thanks. Anytime I can snag a chicken pattern I grab it. I must have a couple hundred of them. Most are applique and from free sites.

She has wonderful patterns. If you sign up she sends a free pattern once a month around the 27th I think. Last month she did a Wee Snowy Egret. Nice patterns. It's real advanced and I would suggest an easier pattern to start with. I save just about all of them. I love her site. I wish she would do a book. Smart talented lady. I also like this site:
