My First Quilt

Update on the Strip Quilt. I have 4 blocks done. We had a slow down because ms kitty broke my needle. Had to get another one. So what do yall think?

I haven't gotten to sewing up the diamonds yet. I still am making the strip squares. I have 5.5 done now. Those 4 are just layed in the pattern. I found it saves time and is less aggervating to sew the strips together, then to the foundation square.

Great job on the rag quilt and the beginning of the other one. Remember.....just one project at a time

Yes, it's so much fun. The rag quilt is done. After 2 washings it was very nicely fringed. With the left over of that I made a small (1'x1') teddy bear blanket for my cousin's kid. It took all of 20 minutes. I use things that I do with my hands to get things off my mind. Needless to say, there will be a lot of quilts

Another quilt done. Me and mom played around with it and decided instead of diamonds, we'd make arrows, and use only the yellow border, not the yellow and green. I love it!
