My first round of quail are hatching :)

Today is day 17 and my quail are hatching today, I have 9 eggs and one has hatched and 2 or 3 are pipped

I will try to post pics when I can get some, they are Tibetan and English White Coturnix

Mine started pipping yesterday on day 15 but none are out yet. I have about 25-30 pips.

The one thats out is a cutey but its already trying to kill itself lol, I have a dual hatch going on and the little knucklehead somehow got its head pinned under a rack of eggs so I had to open the incubator and take the rack off its neck lol

Still just have the one hatched, got a couple pips waiting but this lil one is is for now.

Awwwwwww.... What a beauty!!

What kind/color is it? It's so dark.

Must be Tibetan, I have English whites and tibetans, im sure there was some crossbreeding between the colors when I brought them home so its a mutt lol

It really is neat looking.

I have a cage of just Jumbo brown, hatched a few of their eggs and came up with a Roux Dilute. lol...
I got them as chicks so I don't know any background on them , so needless to say the little light colored one was a surprise. lol...

Just peeked in and now there is a white baby hatched, he's peeping like crazy so maybe he will drive the other lazy butts outta their shells lol
