Very exciting!!!!! Considering the green bloom, what color is the duck?
The runners are fawn and white.
It could be a muscovy, but their eggs have never been oblong plus it's a little smaller than their normal egg. I have one muscovy that lays a greenish egg once in awhile - I know bloom shouldn't change, but one of my muscovy lays greenish eggs and off white eggs. 🤷‍♀️ The muscovy are more mature and have stopped laying for now.

My runners are also laying but their eggs are off white. Not sure all are laying yet. I got one for a week, then three/day, and now 4/day. Hoping there's more than 4 females or I have 6 drakes which is a problem LOL Mine are Penciled Indian Runners, if it matters.
I just did a search, they can lay green eggs and even bluish eggs plus white of course.
Mine are 6-7 months old and I got them August. I wasn't sure when they would start laying since they were new to me and adjusting to life here. But, they seem pretty content these days.
Now to figure out which one is laying.

I get heavy bloom eggs, and almost imperceptible bloom eggs from the same ducks with little time elapsed in between. Not runners, but presumably the same rules would apply.

This one is definitely smaller than any of the muscovy eggs. The coloring on this one is slightly green. Not as much as shows up in the photo.
I never checked yesterday morning and I bet the first egg was there all day; but, this was laid in the same spot in the duck house.
I opened the first one and it was a double yolk, so that might be why it was more oblong.

Ducks are definitely interesting. I just thought the same idea applied that applied to chicken eggs as far as bloom.
