I hope to get at least 1. But this is my first hatch by myself and I have been turning them and doing the temp/humidity thing but maybe I am just not meant to hatch eggs.

Unless I see a definite blood ring or clear I leave them all in until the end...so far no blowup eggs...in fact today one I wrote a ? on is alive, pipped and busily hatching!

I would just leave them all in and keep going...you still have a while to go...
Good Luck!

I personally think you jumped the gun...

REALLY?!?! Can you tell me why/how? I knew that 2 of them were clear and the other 2 I opened had the "bloodring" But when I opened them they didn't even have a smell. I expected a rotten egg smell.

ETA: This wasn't meant to sound mean or doubtful... Its one of those getting excited really's.

Your first hatch is always nerve racking. You will undoubtedly obsess over it, freak out, and drive yourself mad. Everyone does it, and if theysay they dont or didn't, they are lying to you. It gets easier with subsequent hatches.

Ok...Well this isn't going so well.....This is day 28 and still NOTHING. I did open one of the eggs to just see if there were anything inside and yea there was a chick inside. Looked fully developed but it didn't move or anything. The membrane inside the egg was thicker than expected and leathery. Is that why they aren't able to hatch? Should I go ahead and throw them out? Give them more time? I just really don't know if it will do any good. HELP!!!

If its day 28, and nothing has hatched, I'd throw them out, and re-evaluate your incubation process. How many times did you open the incubator? How long was it opened when you did open it? How steady were your temps and humidity? Was there any sudden drops or spikes in either that you know of? After evaluation, and figuring out where you might try things a little different, give it a try again.
