1) What type of bird , age and weight.-Coturnix, 8 weeks
2) What is the behavior, exactly.-laying on her left side for the past 2 days, not drinking or eating, lethargic she was making a farting sound yesterday I thought was trouble laying her first egg
3) Is there any bleeding, injury, broken bones or other sign of trauma.no
4) What happened, if anything that you know of, that may have caused the situation.-egg problem?
5) What has the bird been eating and drinking, if at all. only had a few sips of water I forced
6) How does the poop look? Normal? Bloody? Runny? etc. I just cleaned her bum, yellow poop
7) What has been the treatment you have administered so far?
8 ) What is your intent as far as treatment? For example, do you want to treat completely yourself, or do you need help in stabilizing the bird til you can get to a vet? What do I do?!?!
9) If you have a picture of the wound or condition, please post it. It may help.
10) Describe the housing/bedding in use, hay

Actually she's following the guidelines for posting in this section.

So it sounds like maybe she is egg bound. I'm not sure as I've never had an eggbound
coturnix or chicken but i have heard that holding there lower half in warm water can help.
Other than that, you need to keep it hydrated even if you have to help it drink. Also maybe some hard boiled or scrambled egg would be good to entice it to eat and give it some nourishment. I would separate it also from the other quail.

You might want to post this in the quail section too to get more response.

Good luck!

I think she might be egg bound too. I soaked her for 45 minutes and hopefully that loosened things up. She was drinking the water in the salad bowl I had her soaking in. I haven't noticed any improvement yet. Any other advice Please, I could really use it. Thanks!!!

If you do a search on "egg bound" in here you should find some other suggestions.

One I've seen numerous times is take a eye dropper and fill with olive oil or vegetable oil and keep putting it in the vent area and masaging the vent area and behind the vent onto the body and get some of the oil up in her if you can. Maybe soak her in warm water then do the olive oil thing and see if it helps.
