My First Time Raising Chicks They are Ameraucana I got from TSC

We have some EE's that look similar to some of yours! I'm enjoying the feather development. All of ours were sexed as girls, so here's to hoping that is the case. Here they are as day olds and 4 week olds. Names are: "Galadriel" for the lightest one. The middle one is "Fili" and the darkest one is either going to be "Kili" or "Bombur" - dwarf names from the Hobbit and LOTR, and Galadriel is an elf name. With muffs and maybe beards later, the chicks reminded us of these movies.

Ok here is just a quick pic from yesterday of the Easter Eggers and some RIR. Easter eggers are pretty close to 5 weeks, RIR probably 4 weeks. I put them out in a rabbit hutch with a temporary run. (Coop Should be done in a week or so) I think this first pic is a lil roo but not sure.

So disappointed in Tractor Supply. They had the birds labeled as Americaunas to begin with and they are EE, and I realize they had nothing to do with the second part but out of 9 chicks i might have 5 or 6 Roos

Many hatcheries also label EEs as Ameraucanas, I guess they think it sounds better. Truth in advertising doesn't seem to apply either. :rant I think you will be happy with them, and get many more eggs, than from SQ Ameraucanas.
