I have a pepsi bottle full of water in so when I open the top the warm water helps the temp. from dropping to fast, so I've read.

I have found that I don't need that much water to put a jar in, but I also have to say I'm here 24/7, I'm not working right now, so I can watch it 24/7. The only time I all water is when I open top to turn eggs.​

That is really great!! Post some pictures if you can, I don't think I can because I'm to new. Maybe I won't be by the time my hatch!! ( I have high hopes!!) lol

I can't remember the exact brand of bator but I know it's just the standard styrofoam bator that I got from Tractor Supply. This time around I have been using half of a wet sponge. I'm a week and a half into my incubation and my humidity has been at a steady 55%

I have 16 eggs in the bator. So far it looks like about half that batch is fertile. It's been somewhat hard to tell when the eggs may have been laid but so far everything looks good. Thanks for all the advice again. You've all been so helpful.

Oh yay!! Good luck with lockdown! I was so stressed last time with lockdown that I'm kind of dreading this time around LoL It's sad when I realize I did something wrong and one of my guys might not hatch
