the turkey egg is in the center, the others are from a few of my girls. We got our first pink egg today as well. I'm a proud flock tender

I have four hens twobourbon red one merriam/eastern wild and one bronze based mutt. I have no idea which this egg is from or how often i'll get them.

Nice eggs! I'm looking forward to our first turkey eggs soon. The tom was trying to court her today and she was having none of it lol.

Hey so what did she end up laying it in? It hit me today while making some 16x16 boxes for the chickens that this still might be too small for our blue slate.

Congrats! I'm hoping for some turkey eggs soon, too. I thought they'd look different than the chicken eggs, but yours seems to look similar. I prepared a spot for our two BR girls to lay in a doggie igloo, but now I have two chickens who have decided the "turkey-loo" is more convenient that their own nest boxes when they are out free ranging, and they are laying in there. Well, maybe it will give the turkeys an idea for when they are ready...

I keep checking every morning and evening with great anticipation. So far, nothing. But, it's early yet, not even February, and it's been fairly cold here in Michigan, highs between the mid teens and low 30's, and lows from about -1 to about the mid 20's. Perhaps as the march towards spring picks up and the days lengthen in February.

My ducks have started to lay, though. So soon, I hope.
