That is a 27% game bird starter crumble, mixed with a good amount of water right before I give it to them and then top dressed with some cracked corn. Like the meat chickens, they were wasting a bunch of the dry crumbles it seemed and waste none with the soft food. I'm about to make them a bigger feeder.

Nice photos. They're really starting to look like turkeys now. I am also raising my first turkeys, but I got them from the feed store when they were 4 weeks old, so I didn't get to see all the cute stages. So, it's fun looking at your photos. The good news about getting them older is that they aren't as fragile as I've heard the day old ones can be and I had no problem transporting them home and getting them started on food and water. Keep posting!

Thanks! They are starting to look like turkeys! It was fun watching them run around the yard a little the other day...need to do it again! I'm really wanting these to get to the adult stage, so I can see that out there, then I'll be wanting babies again to play with....

Thanks! Congrats on you getting some! Yep, they are a lot of fun! I've loved watching and messing with mine from day 1 to present day. I moved my Bourbon Reds outside for a day awhile back, then right back into the brooder. I put them outside yesterday for good now and will have more pics of them now.
