My Firstfruits

It would, but it's difficult to achieve because charities don't generally accept such things. I'll figure out something though.
If you are unsuccessful in selling them (not saying that you will be), maybe it is more a heart of the matter vs the actual act. Think about how Abraham was willing to sacrifice Isaac in accordance to God’s request and it was more a test of his faith and obedience than the actual sacrifice. Ultimately God provided the sacrifice. I realize tithe and sacrifice are different but just a thought. With our kids we have been teaching them how taking care of our animals (and land) is being a good steward of what God has provided for us as well as reminding them that God have Adam the job of working in the garden.

I've moved the 7 little ones into the coop with the others today so that the brooder will be ready for the new hatch. I've set them up in the playpen with a pet carrier to sleep in if they want to.

The adults are quite curious.

I opened a door for the little ones to go in and out. One of the Marans boys was the first to pop through and make himself obnoxious to a hen who was eating some cabbage.

I'm too sick still to stay down there with them any longer, but in 20 minutes there was no violence so I expect it will be OK.
