My flock of 12 are growing quickly. (lots of pics, and link to video)

your chickens are gorgeous. you have some barred rocks like mine and i also have some of the ee's you have. I have 40 chickens and many different breeds but I love them all very much.

Thanks to everyone that commented. I am glad you think the girls look healthy. I think they will all be 6 months old by January. So when should I expect some eggs? I am hoping by early spring. And if they are all hens, how many eggs should I get a day or week? And wich would be the best for meat? My neighbor says he could buthcer them. I don't know how to do that, so I am only wanting eggs. But if any are roos or don't lay, I will let him do it.
They are two each of EE,some kind of red, BB,BR,JG, and Australorp.

It has been a while since I have posted new pics of my flock. My flock of 12 is now 10. My neighbor took back the 2 Bantam Buff Brahmas. His daughter really missed them. The JG, Aust, and BR's are now 16 weeks old, and the EE's and Reds are around 19 weeks old. I hope to get my first egg before the end of the year.

My only problem with the girls is trying to keep them away from garden. They eat my plants. So this weekend I am going to put up a net fence to try and keep them out. I am planning on growing wheat this year for the first time, so I really need to chicken proof the garden.

Well here are some pics I took this evening. It was getting dark, so I used flash on most of these pics.

JG or Australorp, I don't know?

This is a few weeks old. The two reds both love to climb all over me. Today they were on my shoulder.

And i think the black ones are Australorps. I had some before, and they're great chickens with awesome personalities.
