    The ferret is in a cage while I'm not around? He can't reach the birds if he tried anyhow.

    and i bet the ferret would be in for a nasty surprise if he bothered the larger birds ....Our African Grey used to bite the nose of any of our foster dogs if they were rude enough to get it too close.....[​IMG]

    Exactly!! Parrots aren't nearly as helpless as people think they are. Between Paco and some of my foster birds the cats and the dogs are terrified of anything with feathers [​IMG]
