my flock has dwindled down to only 8 birds. poor me. lol. which is why i have 15 belgian blue quail d'anvers and self blue d'uccles coming in the mail from ideal in may.
and i am bound to buy at least a few at the upcoming poultry show in may. i'm planning on getting more d'anvers. they are my all time favorite breed ever and i dont have any at the moment. my mom is loving me. being as i'm 500 miles away at college right now. hahahaha. but i keep telling her she gets all the eggs so it evens out.
plus i have a broody with 6 eggs under her due tuesday. but i am getting surgery on my foot the beginning of may and will be stuck home so i need something to keep me occupied...anyway....here's my chickies. i will add more when the chicks hatch and my Ideal chicks come in

Salmon faverolle roo. Jake. when i first got him and recent. he doesn't cooperate well so i dont have a full body pic but hes a handsome boy. tons of white though.
two old silver laced wyandottes that complain about everything.
blue sumatra boy. Jasper. LOVE HIM.
his son. Mercutio. will be a year old in august. he needs to grow into his saddle feathers lol. they touch the ground.
and his mamma. Evita. shes the vicious broody at the moment.
and my sumatra polish mix. Ophelia. eyeing up the snow and not wanting to leave the coop.
