That's a good choice.I decided. I'm trimming Dottie's and Penguin's flight feathers. They keep flying over the fence and now they even fly into my neighbors yard/field. But I can't risk losing another one..
.. Gah how much I hate having to do this

Not going to say what breed.. YetOk. So the SF eggs are developing (one looked like it had a possible death ring). I left 3 SF eggs under Daisy and put 2 under Chickietta.
Then I found out that my Cochin (Bella) managed to hide eggs from me so I left them under her. But I candled and they looked like duds.
Then Bella laid an egg (Raven is probably the father) so I cracked one (one of the hidden eggs) and ugh it was alive. I felt bad but I didn't want the chick anyway.
So my plan is to crack the other egg too, leave the CochinX egg, and get two more eggs from someone local who has a mixed breed flock (mix breed bantams) and get /breed/ chicks to put under one of the broodies who's sharing the SF eggs. Hope this makes sense
oh my gawd!!!! they're beauties!Hey...So I went to buy the mixed breed bantam eggs...and didn't buy the eggs after all..because..
