My geese males or females???

I know of a goose breeder but it’s a different breed than mine. Is it ok to get one if those for my gander or do they have to be the same breed.

Get the drakes separated from the females till you get them new homes It won't kill them and will save your girls life.

I am going to have to do that. Hopefully I will find a home soon

@jchny2000 I remember all that from you saying but I still have trouble at time making the distinction except for voice.

I am not 100% right all the time, so don't make decisions on my opinions! If you aren't there in person its harder to tell. But that is what I see from the pics. Geese like a 1:1 ratio but 2 ganders could be an issue. Adding a hen would work very well.

I know but you have had more experience than I since you hatch more.

@Lrosell31 get what ever breed you want your gander will be happy. When introducing though keep this in mind the new goose may be looked at as an intruder so do intros slowly so they can all meet and get to know each other. A meet and greet pen works well for this.
