Our chickens found DH's gold wedding ring about a month after he lost it outside somewhere! They sure are amazing little creatures!

Sadly my hens find anything my hubby leaves laying about and take off with it, generally all bad. So you know, when men take something apart to fix it, leave nuts and bolts all over, then can't put it back together as they forget where, well my hens (or the turkeys, they are worse honestly) get the blame. They are guilty lots of the time I have to admit, but I keep telling him if they are free ranging don't leave shiny stuff laying around! Or paper stuff, like the air filter from the leaf blower, they got that away from him once and I spent a half hour chasing them down to get it back.

What a great find! Its beautifull. Last summer my girls dug up a mens gold wedding band. I asked the previous owners if they ever lost one, she said no. We had 15 dump trucks of dirt brought in, from the state. It was scraped from the roadside shoulders. Im betting thats where my little treasure came from!

Oh, I never thought of that!! Dh is always cleaning his Harley in the yard with all the chickens around. I will tell him not to do any maintenance on it with them around

You know one of the small dogs ran and jumped into my arms the summer before last and it wasn't until I had gone all around the place that I realized I just had a broken chain around my neck and that my small silver cross was gone

I have never found it. I will watch the chickens now. See if someone is trying to wear a cross around her neck??
