ok so I was pondering your find today, maybe it got there when a scorn lover threw it into the barn in an act of anger and separation from her man? My point is it may have never been "lost" at all for all we know it could have been tossed there in disgust. Not as likely but more entertaining to imagine....

Oh I had my "sit down" with the chooks and explained that real good hens privide fine jewlery and/or precious stones and to make quick with it! I might have mentioned something about freezer camp as well (idle threat since they are my egg layers) but they dont know that!
