I have five new girls (7-9 weeks old) that we got exactly a week ago. We kept them in the coop for three days (as recommended by books), and then opened the window and placed them outside. I put them in early the first night, but the last three days they have not ventured out on their own. I know that they can get out of the window, and for the last two nights, they have come in on their own (after I put them out about 5pm), but i am just worried that they dont seem too adventurous. Is it ok that they don't go outside, or should i pick them up and put them out every morning?
I should say that outside is an enclosed 13x6' pen.
