my goat tries to bite every time i touch it

That’s good she’s warming up. Goats are stubborn so just need to show her your in charge. First I would try simple. Just firm no ang a pop on the nose will work for some. Stay firm consistent and no backing down. Try that for awhile and then if no results then grab the horns till they stop struggling again with a no. If things are bad there is a method of grabbing the back legs and laying them on their side but I never had to go there. Small Treats for when she doesn’t do it to reinforce good behavior could help. Piece of carrot or apple or whatever she enjoys I think the first method with some positive reinforcement may work for you. You say she starting to warm up and it doesn’t sound like a just plain aggressive goat. Any method my take a couple days to catch on. What’s great about your situation is that when the babies are away for the day it gives you a chance to bond with her so can like you and respect you which owning a goat is much more pleasurable that way
thanku sooo much i will try all these but mygoats dont
have horns

Oh. Never had a goat without horns. For some reason I really really like goats with horns I just wasn’t familiar with the breed do you have. But now that I think about it I’ve seen them and they don’t have horns. I’ve heard of a headlock instead. That would seem weird to me but I think the point is to just show that you are the one in control so I guess re-straining anything to prove that would work. ButReally I think after using the first method for a few days with the way she sounds there’s a good chance that will work. I hope it does. And I’m glad you’re on top of it because you don’t want the babies to learn mom’s behavior. How’s it going so far? No I guess maybe you haven’t had a chance to start yet

Awesome!!! Goats are a great joy to have especially when respect is there. I was afraid the first time I had to do that they would hate me but nope. I guess when you shelter, feed and care about them they won’t be mad. So glad it’s going well and momma and baby are too cute!!
