My Golden Comets are Laying Massive Eggs, Hooray!

I am so proud of my 5 little Comets. The older RIR hens always acted like they were so superior, but now that the Comets are laying, their eggs are huge! They are putting the old ladies to shame.
I love my Comets!

Not to mention that they're so darned huggable!!

Mine generaly lay massive eggs as well 4 oz eggs are common

Mine lay mostly big eggs. But we had this one very fat hen whose eggs were smaller than everyone else's by a long shot. It was quite comical, actually.

Yes, we have a light Brahma young hen, and she has a really big butt! Not to mention those feathery feet. She's a hefty gal. We have an elderly rooster, a young virile rooster, and an adolescent (just learning to crow) rooster, and all 3 took one look at those hips and tried to climb on. So far she has just run in terror. They're very entertaining, aren't they?

Thats so funny! My Light Brahma, Gertrude, has some serious junk in her trunk as well...
