If you do decide to take the last baby in don't feel too guilty. I had to take all of my goslings away from the mother this year due to the weather was still too cold when they hatched because I couldn't trust that she would keep them warm. I felt really bad and sad but in the long run I felt better when I knew they were happy, healthy, safe and warm. Honestly the mother didn't act upset at all by the end of the first day. The only mistake I made was not putting them back in with the adults earlier because by the time I put them out the gander and one female acted like they wanted to attack them so now I'm having to keep them seperated until I know they can stand up for themselves. They are eleven weeks now and look big enough to fend for themselves but they still have that innocent, baby personality.
