I believe they are ISA Browns. I didn't think to ask when I bought them (I was too smitten by their beautiful colours I think), but from everything that we've researched they match ISA Browns the most. I should ask next time I'm at the fodder store.
Lots of green left because we've had a great winter here, and they've only just started free ranging on weekends when we can supervise, last weekend actually! I'm sure they'll eat more in the next few weeks. They love their greens!
I've been debating whether or not to get ISA Browns, or their parent breed Rhode Island Reds next Spring. Now that I've seen your birds I think I've made my decision... they gorgeous!
Love the photographs. I know what you mean about taking pictures - I take a lot of pix of my chickens for my blog and am constantly frustrated by the camera being too slow. Looks like your chickens have a lovely life!
