My guineas are deathly afraid of me.

yes, I actually moved them out 2 days ago, tonight is their 2nd night outside. I have a 100 watt light bulb over them but had to separate them into two cages d/t the cages aren't that large. Their main concern seems to be that they can't all be together, they run up and down the cages trying to get together. I placed the cages right next to eachother so they can share the light, and they are inside a larger enclosure with tarp over top. That's the best I can do until we get the barn built. Funny thing is, at night the light attracts moths and bugs and they go nuts trying to catch them all!! Very entertaining. By morning they are very tired and ready to sleep a while....

They probably don't need heat any more. I've had a bunch of chicks from 1-4 weeks outside with no heat. It's hot right now.
because they are too little still, they can go thru the larger wire, it's about 2X2 inches big.

You could put some temporary plastic poultry netting or even plastic along the bottom. Those are cheaper alternatives.

My keets are also deathly afraid of me and they race to one corner of the coop when I come near. I tried mealworms but it didn't work. Wil they become tame at around 12 wks. They are now about 5 wks. I now have them for 3 wks

Guineas in cages/runs = scared of people
Guineas in the outside world = following humans around looking for food

When you let them out they will become your best friends, but don't think they will let you pick them up because guineas usually hate being touched and held
