My Hamster Just Died =(

i just got home and i was feeding my finches and i look over at the hamster tank and i saw my females eating but i look down and my male hamster was laid over gasping for air so i got him and tried everything i could then i felt his throat and it felt like he had a large seed caught in his throat and he was choking i was trying everything to try and move the seed but then he turned blue and stop breathing and he was gone

i have always had hamster all my life and it kills me when one of them dies

It's nice you tried to save him. You take such good care of your animals! I don't think there was anything you could do. They are so tiny and fragile. I'm sorry for your loss.
