Wherever Angel is~
is when school is out, Pepsi Next in my hand, Dorito bag in my lap, window down in the passenger seat, heading home...

Quite far away from the city.
Happy me.

Yet, my paradise:

Either hunting in the woods, fishing from the dock on a pontune, or when we're at the lake, the boat docked by a shore, swimming in the lake with my dog and my family.

Yeah, I'm a country girl at heart. Anyone else with me?

It was funny, last night my sister was saying something about wanting to spend a week in D.C. And I was like Absolutely.No.Way.
She likes the city, I like the country!

Country gals rock. My school is way out in the city -_- and a lot of girls there (99.8 percent, the other two percent are me and PoppyChicken) don't know how to take care of any farm animal. I'm sure that PoppyChicken would easily learn, but the other girls would back down at teh very sight of poop.

If I spend more than three days from the country .. I miss it .. Feel a tug to get back where I belong. and that is not surrounded by hustle and bustle and Bright lights.. unless of course its hanging over my lil chicks or something ..

Yeah. Our church is a little country church, and most of the people are country folks, but there is this one girl there.... She says she would love to live in the country and have animals {they live in a sort-of development not exactly type thing now}, but she would not make a farmer's wife. Her? Cleaning out a chicken coop? Mucking stalls? Composting food? Nope.

IKR! cleaning cow pies off teh barn floor? Real women shovel poop, clean chicken coops, and raise farm animals. And they also have never fainted at the sight of blood (like the 99.8 percent of girls at my school).

You said it!
This is really really funny: One time, she was spending the day at my house. When it came time to milk the goats, she came out to the barn with me. I asked her if she wanted to try milking, and, after much persuasion, she agreed. As soon as she touched the udder she reeled and said "Ewww! It's all warm and squishy!" It was all I could do not to laugh my head off!
