WV, any pips on your quail?

Nope, not when I left the house this morning. I'm hoping there will be when I get home!

I did break lockdown last night. See, I usually draw a vertical line on the side of the egg facing up. Just so once they start hatching, I can tell if one gets rolled over. Well I realized last night that I had not drawn my lines. So I opened quickly to do it.

And being the candling addict that I am, I took the opportunity to shine on a few (ok, almost all) of them and saw several drawn down air cells. So I have a feeling I know which one is going to start first!

Temp and humidity reestablished in just a few short minutes.

LOL, I had to take the tray out because I upped the humidity and added water, but the pump kept working too hard. So of course, when I took the tray out again to add the paper towel, I candled them and saw an internal pip! At least one is probably going to hatch.
