Thanks, hoping I get a better hatch rate on these :fl

CAM issues were mentioned as a possible reason for quitting in the ducks. Most of the quail look okay in that respect, thankfully.

Doubt it. Haven't had geese, peas, or turkeys yet either.

I think 2 have CAM issues, again :/
So not as great as day 7 candle, but not horrid either.
 
My best shipped hatch went almost straight into the bator, I only waited 6 hours or so. Popped them in, turned it on, then turned on the turner the next morning.

In my (admittedly somewhat limited) experience, the sooner I started turning, the less deaths I had at the end. I also rotated position in the bator and twisted them 90 degrees every few days. The turning helps the CAM develop, and I believe waiting to turn may have lowered my previous hatch rates.
