I have a RIR hen. She is little over two. Is she old for laying eggs? will she ever lay more yuan one a day? Also I have a silkie rooster who is about 8m. And my hen. Is the lack of chickens a hinder for them?

She should lay well until her third or fourth year. No, chickens do not lay more than one egg per day.

What do you mean by "a hinder"?

Three chickens should be fine. But, of course, chicken math hits quickly and you rarely stay down to 3 chooks for long.
