Y'know what I need... Is a month long vacation just to sit around and watch temps. 

They should put that on the LG box!

Just candled my quail eggs, day 6-1/2.
27 eggs
17 definitely developing,
1 had
a crack and the air cell was on the pointy end, so I pulled it.
1 appears to have blood ring, but I left it in.
Other 7 likely clear but not definitely, so I left them.
Some of the shells are darker and alot of dark spots on the shells hide stuff.

I'd love to hatch quail sometime, or peas or ducks... All three, perhaps. Maybe throw in an emu for the fun of it.

I also think you're biased, but that's OK.

My favorite chicks are the little tuxedo BCMs, but they grow out of that stage so fast.

Maybe, but only cause they were my first hatch, so they are special. The BCMs are adorable too. And oh, the silkies!! And sebrights!!!

Oh heck, they all are!!! I've not hatched an ugly chick yet!

I love doing broody hatches. Unfortunately, none are going broody this time of year.
