My Hatching Journey: the Adventures of a Complete Newbie

Agreed. I knew a chestnut mare once, she was the friendliest horse ever.... First time I saw her, she came over and let me stroke her.... I would just come visit in the pasture and she would sniff me up and down like a dog. :lau
Just seein her was a stress reliver

Brandy was a beautiful bay TNW, severely foundered in her previous owners care... I would go lean against her and she'd lean against me and we would stand there for hours...

Not productive, but awesome!

She was not ridable anymore... her hooves were an awful mess... we got the swelling down and the splits trimmed out enough that she wasn't in pain, but riding was out for life...

Aww... What a special horse. :love

Super intelligent... the leaning eased the pressure on her hooves... if we left her alone, she would lean on the fence til it busted... didn't matter what kind either... she took down a 6 ft stock fence, hot wire, barb wire, you name it...
