I am so sorry for your loss. My Nephew is also at Ft. Carson, back home after his 2 tours. I know how they feel about losing a 'brother', no matter the circumstances. You and your family are in my prayers, and I honor your Brother's service.

I'm so sorry for your lose and I pray that you may find comfort.

I thank God we have Service men (and women) protecting all of us. I just wish some didn't have to give all and it didn't hurt the families and loved ones they leave behind so much.

I believe we have Angels that watch over us and I heard a story this weekend from a good friend that was in town visiting. He was traveling last month when the tornados went through AL and TN. He told me someone he knew was looking for survivors in the immediate aftermath of one of the tornados that had just distroyed the town. This guy didn't know why but felt a need to look in a freezer and when he did - he found a little boy 4-5 who was unhurt but badly shaken. This little boy told him where he was from - a town over 30 miles away and when this young boy was asked how he got in the freezer he said 'a man with wings put him in the freezer.'

I believe He has a purpose for us, even when we don't understand. When we lose someone we love and it makes no sense, I believe and trust Him.

I too lost my brother, 3 years older than me, when he 41 years and just a few days old. I re-live that evening I got the call. His death was also sudden. My brother was my very best friend in life, and we spoke every day, or at least left voicemails on each other's phones. My latest vm was still on his phone when we brought it home.
