My hen’s feathers changed color!

Hi friends! My 5 year old Black Copper Maran has not laid this season and after a molt, is more beautiful than ever! Nothing else has changed. Eating, drinking, roaming, scratching as usual!

Is this common for the breed? Is there something hormonal going on? Is she ok? Have any of your birds done this?

I was thinking it might be hormonal because of how drastic the changes are!

beak color can change in tint, thats normal. Its the hackles. @Overo Mare come see! Oh and @TheOddOneOut

Look closer at the comb, the lines are the same and so are the tips.

Looks like maybe a damaged ovary. So, severe hormone imbalance.
