my hen barks

I have a barred rock hen. Around feeding time she will start "barking" It sounds like she is a chew toy being squeeked. She looks really funny doing it too. She is 18 weeks old and just started barking 3 days ago. Is something wrong??

I've heard mine sound something like that, but it happened so few and far between I thought I was losing it. I think mine learned from my dogs!!

Mine are 15 weeks and a couple of them sometimes make a honking sound like a goose! It's kind of funny and could sound like a bark too.

I have a Welsummer pullet that sounds like she's honking too! She just started last week or so. Is it like a teenager with their voice changing? How old is your BR? My Welsummer is about 12-14 weeks old.

My EE Pullet is honking too. She sounds like a goose!!!

Yep, mine sound like bunch of ducks, they have for a few weeks. They're now 16 weeks.

Not so much a dog though.

random...is it possible yet to cross a chicken with a parrot and then get chickens that will talk to ya? Think of the colors?!?!?
