Should I give her half tablet or full tablet? She may be sitting with her butt in the air because she has an egg stuck. Calcium could help. Try to find some and give it to her.
Thank you for helping me but she just passed away on this morningFull. Give one full tablet once a day until she lays an egg.
Yeah but I can't cut her like that b'cuz I don't have courage to see her dead bodyI'm so sorry. I understand what that's like. It never gets any easier, no matter how many times you lose a chicken you are very bonded with.
I know how much she meant to you, but when you are able to think about it, consider trying to find out what made her so sick. It would be as simple as cutting open her abdominal cavity and looking for anything that doesn't belong there, such as a stuck egg, or multiple eggs in the abdominal cavity where eggs do not belong. There's a possibility she had cancer and you might see a lot of tiny tumors that resemble bean soup.
Knowing what killed your sweet hen would help you find closure to this episode you've suffered through.
