Hello all! Been a while since I have posted a thread.

So one of my girls ( golden laced polish) is 9 months old and has suddenly decided to be aggressive towards me. Now it really depends on if I'm wearing flip flops I noticed. But none the less it's annoying to have he grab my leg and kick me with both feet every 3 steps while I'm working out back. She's always been the weirdest of the bunch. I mean she is a polish so that's to be expected. But it's really becoming a problem since she hasn't even layed yet. I figure this spring she will finally lay. All the other hens I got that are her age have layed. My question is, is there any kind of training or negative reinforcement I can do to stop her from attacking. Also let me finish by stating yes I am SURE she's a hen.lol I know that would be the first question. Okay Thanks everybody here she is

Did she settle down?
No she still go's nuts if I'm wearing something she doesn't like. Boots tend to keep her more calm. Buy flip flops are off limits. She has layed tho finally. I kinda just gently kick her away or stand up to her and she will slowly wander away. But if my back is turned she will charge. Since she's at least laying I have begun to tolerate it more because I feel like she's contributing to the flock. No matter what I love her and she has a place here. At least I don't have to here my wife saying " what a mistake! She's not even laying" anymore :)

Is she your lead hen? Sometimes the lead hen will take on rooster behavior if no rooster is present.
No my barred rock is the lead however she's the only one that won't listen to the barred rock. And she will stand up to the barred rock when she tries to assert dominate over food. It's so funny to see the lead hen doing her thing bossing the others around but then she gets to my problem polish and the polish won't take it. It seems my problem chicken is even a problem to her boss haha.
