My Hen is a Redneck! (Red Throat- Feathers missing?)

Hello Chicken Experts!

One of my RSL is missing feathers down her throat and the skin there is red. I searched for parasites but haven't seen any.

Anyone have ideas what this could be?

Look very closely for mites and especially after dark when some mites are out, but I think your chicken has been feather-picked by another. Sometimes they do this out of boredom, sometimes because they need a little more protein in their diet (20% is good,) and sometimes they need more room. I have a couple like this, and I believe their buddies do it at night on the roost.
