Ruby is a little over 2 years old. She's been a great layer, until about a month ago. She's been laying these deflated looking eggs. Yesterday, she had a long stringy looking thing coming out of her vent. I give her a good organic feed, lots of oyster shells and occasionally I give her a calcium tablet, dissolved in goat yogurt.
About 4 months ago, her chicken buddy passed away and I'm wondering if being alone has anything to do with this.......please advise
