I’m new to being a chicken tender so I just want to make sure I’m not creating a problem for myself. I have allowed my chickens to come in my house to say hi throughout the day. However, one hen started laying her eggs in a basket in my kitchen. I’m not complaining about the impecKable service, but the kitchen can be busy at the time she’d prefer to lay. If she doesn’t have access to “her” basket will this deter her from laying eggs?
I don’t want her to become egg bound.
To note, I have plenty of nesting boxes in the coop but when I’m home I free range them in my backyard and the hens find other places to lay, this one just happens to like the kitchen.
