I have a 1 1/2 yr old hen that has been limping for several months. Now she will not get down off the roost. Late morning to mid day I find her on the roost and help her down. She eats and drinks. She can return to the roost but won't get down.
I have given her warm baths and can't find any injury to her leg or foot. She is my favorite chicken. She is the most tame and always used to run up to greet me. She is RIR mix w white leghorn.
