My Hen isn't Doing Well?

Yes! Good news! After a have her some water and yogurt and let her back into her enclosure she seemed to have finally noticed her food tray and ate quite a bit! I'm not sure if she's drinking yet, I haven't seen her drink anything, but she is resisting the water I give her through a syringe more now

I brought her outside in the run today while the rest of the flock were in the coop. She seems to be doing much better but I still don't think she's ready to go back with the other chickens. Unfortunately, as she has recovered she will not allow me to get near her very easily anymore and runs away from me like she used to. Which is both good and bad news! While she's going back to her old healthy self, she is detesting me more and more. I did manage to snap a picture of her though! She's a bit of a mess from this whole experience, but still very pretty in my opinion!

Well she backfired pretty quickly. :(
This morning she was doing with the rest of the flock and suddenly she was completely twisting her neck around consistently and could walk very well because of it. I had already gave her large tank that I had to the chicks I'm raising since she was doing so much better, back to her old self.

I put her in a nesting box for now, and she seems fairly comfortable just laying in there, but her neck is going crazy.

From what I've researched in this short period of time she has wry neck, and I'm still looking at ways to treat it.

Start her on some poultry vitamins in her water, or if you have PolyVisol baby vitamins w/o iron, give 3 drops daily by mouth until you get the poultry vitamins. Other vitamins such as Poultry Cell can be used, but not NutriDrench because it has no thiamine. Sometimes prednisone is used too. Wry neck is a neurological symptom of inflammation of the brain or spinal cord. It happens with vitamin deficiency, certain infectious diseases, and can be a symptom of anything involving the brain such as low oxygen or electrolyte imbalance. Dying chickens will suddenly get wry neck sometimes just before death. Selenium 25 mcg daily is also good to give, but eggs contain selenium if she will eat. Getting her fed and watered may take a lot of estra care now, and she needs no extra stimulation. With possible toxins and seizures, my guess would be Aspergillosis. I had a canary that got it and had seizures. I finally euthanized her. They just drained her energy.
