At least she is no longer suffering.
 
One of my chicken was attacked by a opossum and has not laid any eggs for 3 months. Now all she will eat is wet cat food. She eats out of the cat dish and will not eat her 3 way scratch any more.

Maybe something scared your chicken like a critter. Hope she gets better soon!
