Our barred rock bantam hen used too have a respertory infection but we quickly tackled it with anti biotic and she made a full recovery. She was healthy for about 4 months after and was only 9 months old when she died. We came down to bed them down and she was just lying there stiff and dead, earlier in the day there was no signs of illness or death it was just random. We examined the body for peck marks and there was nothing.

I'm really confused as to why this happened does anyone have any idea why???!!

Sorry for your loss. Unfortunately antibiotics only treat respiratory disease symptoms, they do not cure the disease. Surviving birds are carriers for life. It's very possible the disease caused internal damage which finally took its toll.
