My hen tap dances?

When I go in the chicken coop one of our hens squats down and drums her feet on the floor, like she is tap dancing. Why does she do that? I've heard of them squatting down to mate, but do they tap dance at the same time?

Some of mine do it right before they squat. It's funny as can be! I've heard it referred to here at the stomp dance.
