Can anyone help please
One of my hens started to gargal a lot so I isolated her and I thought it was worms so I wormed the whole flock, but she got worse then I noticed a runny nose so antibiotics but she died, now another one has came down with the same thing. Can this spread to my two ducks that they sleep with. ( is this the cause of eating infected slugs and things)

Not sure , I’ll see how I get on with a different antibiotic for the other hen, now I have a 9 week old chick sitting puffed up sleeping and diarrhoea what can be wrong!!

How long did you have these chickens and when was the most recent time you brought new birds home?

What antibiotic were you giving the bird that died?

Your 9-week-old chick... Can you get clear pictures of fresh poop from this bird?

Gargling...gurgling...sure sounds like respiratory.
Not sure what kind of worms would cause that except maybe gape worms, which are pretty rare.

Where in this world are you located?
Climate, and time of year, is almost always a factor.
Please add your general geographical location to your profile.
It's easy to do, and then it's always there!

No I don’t
Dottie the chicken was not asking you if you knew anybody that could help... Do you see the at symbol just before the name AART? Dottie was tagging Aart to ask Aart if Aart knew anybody that could help
