My hens want to come in My house

When I let my four ISA Browns (nearly 7mo old)

out in the morning they run around doing chicken things. But when I let my dogs come back indoors, the chickens are following them up the steps! Been doing this a couple of days now.. what is going on in their minds? Just want to check out my crib?

Chickens are pretty smart, where the dogs go, treats follow? Or maybe the birds think they are just as much family as the dogs!
