Cause I'm wondering how often I should expect them from her
So it'll just depend on her herself? And since she just laid her first egg yesterday will it take a little for her to get regular cause I didn't get another yet today
. I know with chickens yea they can be hit or miss when they are just startin to lay though.... so i would assume the same for turkens too... if that helps any.
How awesome! My turkeys are 4 months old. I sure hope they lay early too. I was thinking November was the soonest I'd see eggs, if that.I have a black mix turkey hen named Peep who just turned five months old a couple days ago. I heard they don't lay till wayyy later so I didn't expect an egg anytime soon and I just went out there with her and my tom Shadow. AND THERE WAS AN EGG IN HER PEN!! They lay this early???

my male obviously is very manly already lol! He struts his stuff and gobbles all day long. And my Peep is the sweetest hen. Still so amazed she laid this early! In the pic I posted she looks proud of her egg lol
