Sara...They are cute! I would be sad too.
Where my husband hunts there are pigs galore...so far this season he has killed 3 big hogs and 4 piglets. They are so good. I much rather him kill a hog than a deer.

Here is one of the pigs hanging after it was skinned and cut in half. I don't think this is too gross, but if anyone disagrees let me know and I'll put a warning on the post. It was really an interesting process. My pappy butchered pigs, but the last time he did it before he died I was still pretty young, so I don't really remember any of it, except my Nanny making home made french fries to eat while he did it

Nah, not gross at all considering your title is about dead pigs anyway LOL!! We hang our deer and everything just like that so I may just be used to it. Well I was going to put a funny quote in here but then wanted to answer your question first, so Um YEA.....

This has been very informative! I am getting ready to kill and butcher a hog with another BYC'er. I have done plenty of deer and bears in my time but would like to find someone who can cure, smoke and make bacon and some hams, perhaps some sausage.
